Love Island season 8, episode 21.

What a damn episode, if I am being honest. That first look dropped at like 3 p.m. and my nerves were bad till 6 a.m. the next day. F**CKING INSANE!!!!

First off, the core four – Aniya, Trinity, Kayda, and Melanie. I love these girls dearly, their men; except Bryce, ehhhh not so much. I will say, that I love their friendship and closeness. They keep saying that the girls are too cliquey. However, they have a close relationships because, yet it may be Love Island but it does become Friendship Island at the end of the day. And at this point the girls have been living together for almost a month, so yeah they should be getting close, if they weren’t that would be concerning, no?

I knew the episode would stress me out, but god damn, I have been angry for almost three days. THREE DAYS!!! The re-coupling was phenomenal. Was it gut wrenching to watch? Yes.

But I don’t really care. I’m lying, yes I do.

Love Kayda Down.
Love Kayda Down.

I loved when Corbin and Parmida (Parmesan) walked in and the girls booed him. Like yes, boo his lustful loser ass. Like, no one cares that he re-coupled, it is just the fact that he was extremely disrespectful about it. Any man that has to put down another woman to uplift another is a loser. Fortunately, Cornball has begun to become unattractive to me. I did enjoy Kenzie saying, “I’m not a cat, I’m a Persian cat.” That was overly hilarious for some reason. Although, I did not enjoy how Parmida was defending Corbin when the girls were talking about how disrespectful he was, and she was saying that he is a guy and he thinks with his d*ck. As Kayda said, “You want that?!” Like, do you really think that is a good thing, and to give that whole ‘boys will be boys’ for a guy you have known for three days is insane. Sticking up for men in that manner pisses me off, like he was wrong, no need to defend him like you are his mother. Ugh.

Onto Zach, I hate him. He does not deserve Kayda, my New Hampshire Grim Reaper. The only reason he came back was because that angel girl was a racist. UGH. Zach irritates to another level. He is a loser who is insecure and likes to make women feel small. He is literally coupled up with a model, and he still has the nerve to try and put her down. UGH. LOSER. A**. BOY. I truly do want better for Kayda, but I know it won’t happen since she and Zach got physical. That is basically a soul-binding thing for a woman.

He is a true pathological liar, and it disgusts me.
He is a true pathological liar, and it disgusts me.

Since the pathological liar came back without Amora, it irritated me because the way he was speaking in Casa Amor made it seem like he was going to bring her back. But that is just Sincere, unfortunately. Something else that is unfortunate is that Melanie took that f**ker back, like NOOOO. I know some of the Casa boys told her that he was playing her, but I just don’t know anymore. She did curse him out, but I could not enjoy it since I know she decided to stay loyal to him. Their body language was off though when he went to sit next to her and gave her that whack a** flower. Like, give that to the bird in the tree, not the one sitting next to you. (Sorry, I like her but damn girl).

My Bryce and Trinity heart was extremely happy. I knew they would be fine, since Bryce looked like a lost puppy who couldn’t find his mama. My girl Big Trin was also looking pretty down. I love that you can see that they both truly yearned for each other. They tried to explore and did not feel it, which is perfectly fine; he did not bash her, and she did not bash him. The re-coupling speech was so beautiful, I teared up a bit. It was cute to see them matching (I know production helped with that). The way he ran to her and said, “I missed you so much.” Like no other boy said that to their girls. I loved the eagerness he had when he wanted to go hug her. Also, can’t forget the iconic “Leave it on,” after she kissed him.

Bryce and Trinity will always be my number one. They communicate well, they have actual conversations, and they do not go tit for tat with each other when exploring other people. They may not be each other's ideal types, but they seem to have found something genuine being amongst each other. I love to see it. Sometimes it truly is about coming out of your comfort zone when it comes to finding love.

Now, onto hell. The KC, Aniya, Tierra, and Carl of it all. OMG. When I tell you my blood pressure was extremely high, I could not even enjoy my Diet Coke. When I saw that Aniya was going last, I knew she was going to pick KC. Before she was going to get up, I was stressed out; she just looked so confused and sad. I know that she felt the influence of seeing Bryce, Zach, and Insidious come back alone. A storm was brewing. I genuinely had to get up and turn down the volume; I just could not bear to witness her not pick Carl. What is even worse is that the boys knew he was coming back with Tierra, based on their facial expressions.

Then, in walks KC with Tierra, which was not shocking to the audience and the men, but for her, it was like a punch to the gut. I did love how the girls backed her up. Aniya, saying that she was stupid for having hope, made me so mad in the moment, and I agreed. Sorry, it was too intense. What made it even worse was Carl’s facial expressions; he looked so sad for her. UGHH.

However, looking back at it, she just hoped that he would not devalue their three-week connection; she is a lover girl, after all. What got me upset was when he started speaking. That a**hole said, “This decision isn’t for Aniya. This is for me.” Like, what are you even saying? He brought up that damn door from three p**sy a** weeks ago. I have never seen someone hold a grudge over a door. Mind you, in every season of Love Island, someone does not get picked; like, it is not that deep. Even in everyday life, people do not always get picked; you have to move on. He keeps saying he ‘poured’ into her, like is she a glass of milk? Are you GOD? That loser, dweeb, incel, UGGH, pissing me off all over again.

And so, we end up getting a Shonda Rhimes scene.

Actually, it is not okay, Carl.
Actually, it is not okay, Carl.

Aniya says, “I picked you every f**king time. At this f**king fire pit, I picked you. With the letters, I picked you. Here, I picked you. You didn’t pick me. (He has an ugly a** smirk on his face, oh my goodness, get him off my screen). You didn’t pick me, and I picked you every time.” They also had the audacity to play “Human” by Christina Perri. Like, cut the cameras. It felt like Shonda was on set; she empowered Meredith and Olivia. Besides that, I felt so angry, sad, and humiliated for Aniya. I was tearing up, and then it cuts to Carl f**king tearing up for her and saying, “It’s okay. It’s okay, Aniya. It’s okay.” Like OMG. The hardest watch ever. This also speaks to how people kept saying that she did not like KC. Do you really think she would have been distraught over him if she did not like him? Men and women are projecting their feelings onto her because they want KC for themselves. Simple. I always replay that scene, unfortunately, because after taking a day to relax, I had to remember that Aniya only saw the heart rate challenge, where the Casa girls entered, and not the boys' performance. She also got a weak a** postcard, in my opinion. We, as the audience, saw and heard everything KC was doing. So, we have to understand her picking him since she saw like 20% of KC's mask being completely off.

It's actually, not okay, Carl.
It's actually, not okay, Carl.

Intermission-- thank god for Corbin because he has been the only one to show KC’s true colors. And to be the only one KC feels comfortable enough to speak badly about Aniya too.

Disgusting.

The scene does take a turn when Big Trin, asks KC, 'emphasis on asking KC' a question after Tierra got done answering Ariana’s question. That is for those who lack critical thinking.

She asked him why KC was questioning her and Bryce’s connection, since they were a favored couple. KC did say that he expected himself to be a favored couple since he has ‘been in the same thing since day one’. His words. Yes. I know. Trinity essentially wanted him to elaborate on his switch-up. That fool was going to try and bring up the three bombshells: Jen, Kayda, and Sol. Like, boy, you are not exploring Jen or Kayda. Sol is who he wanted to explore but never did.

Like are three days truly enough?
Like are three days truly enough?

Mind you, Aniya asked him if he wanted to, and he always said no, ‘why would I ruin what I have with you?’ Then, he would turn around and spin another tale to the boys and in confessionals. Even when it came to Sol being dumped, he said he would explore her if she was not dumped. KC told Sol he hesitated exploring her because of Sincere. Like, is Sincere the Alpha or something? He even had a private chat with Sol, and they hugged for a long period of time and said he regretted not exploring her. Like, sir. You had ample opportunities to explore her. Aniya even asked if he felt like she was restricting him; he said no, then said yes, she is restricting me to the guys. Like, why lie when you are on national television? All KC had to do was be truthful when he was being asked something; it is not hard. However, for men, that is like asking them to take out the trash or read at a third-grade level.

That fire pit got heated when Ms. Tierra (Titi) opened her mouth and said, “But at the end of the day, he’s here for him.” As Trin said, “We talking to him, baby.” As Kayda also said, “KC, you’re a big boy. Speak the f**k up.” KC, you are the man, speak for yourself. And why in the hell is Tierra speaking up for a man she just met three damn days ago, like HUH?!! Even more jarring is Tierra, little-girling Trinity, like sweetie, your man and her are the same age. WHO WAS SHE FEELING LIKE???? That is not a way to enter the villa, like you just entered and are trying to act like you’re really something.

Talking about “I’m Titi”. Yeah so what. I did love when Aniya said, “Is this Bad Girls Club?” Cause is it, why are we getting rowdy and active over a man?

P.S. for those calling Aniya classist and elitist for saying that, you have truly lost the plot, and need to learn how to apply words to a situation. Realistically, there is no reason for hostility when the question was directed at KC and not Tierra (Titi).

What did make me laugh was that fool, Kuman Chandler, saying why he chose Tierra. I know why, but he said she’s from South Central, I lived there, he said I see my mom and hear my sister. Then to top it off, he said with Aniya it took time and effort, and with Tierra it was effortless. What I took away from that scene was that Tierra was easy and she felt like family. OKAY. COOL. CARLNIYA IN FIVE. Boy, do you hear yourself, and Tierra please listen to the fact that he called you easy to your face, babe. Kuman also had the audacity to say that Aniya comes from a good family and that she will do great things. My man, are you trying to write her off the show, like no she is not getting dumped, you lustful idiot. UGHH, what does her family have to do with this.

The real MVP is Carl, he got emotional for her, and even still complimented her even though he was not picked. Like Carl, is a MAN compared to Kuman who is a BOY. I love you, Carl. Do not disappoint me.

I will say, though, I appreciate Melanie for not letting Aniya cry in front of the pink salmon suit and Titi. Because giving a man the satisfaction that he made you cry is never a good thing, especially with KC. He wants to embarrass Aniya and guilt-trip her for not picking him on day one. Like he literally told Corbin, he is going to walk in Tierra and talk about how she did not pick him on day one. Like sir, Aniya was not picked either; she stood behind Sincere's door and was not picked. But she tried to form a connection with you KC, and she did her best.

Why the heck are you trying to punish her? As a man what do you gain from doing stuff like that?

Kuman definitely felt like he was entitled to Aniya giving him some of her body because of the whole "you are the blueprint" speech. Sorry to break it to you, but you are not guaranteed a woman’s body just because you give an unwarranted compliment. He and Titi get along so well because he is getting the physical stuff that he was essentially begging for.

Men are so icky.

I just hate that Kuman got to achieve his goal of humiliating her on National Television. No woman deserves that.

I know Aniya and Carl will have their guards up but I do hope they can form a solid relationship from it. I truly believe that Carl will give her that hopeless romantic dream she is looking for, and not shut her down and make her feel stupid for thinking that way.

This show is making me feel para social, and feel for a white man and a wasian man. I truly have to stop watching it.

I will be tuned in at 9 p.m. though. :)
